Ho ho ho, Christmas has arrived! I had originally planned to release updates weekly but school has made it damn impossible!
Well, as the first update of the game, it definitely does not add much! HOWEVEERRRR, what it DOES add is rather awesome.
So, let's go through the changelog!
GAMEPLAY FEATURES
Added a brand new high score system
Added a new enemy, the Surrounder
Added two new config settings, Fullscreen and Effects quality
Massive balance overhauls noted below

GAMEPLAY CHANGES
Shaped Bullets upgrade rework:
+50% Projectile velocity => -30% Projectile velocity
Now adds +1 damage and +10% size per 0.15s of projectile airtime
Huge Bullets upgrade rework:
+50% Size => +75% Size
Now increases the chance to apply on-hit effects (33% chance -> 66% chance!)
Ranger enemy changes:
Shoots much slower, does not spawn as much
Spawner enemy changes:
Max enemies spawned reduced, spawning delay increased
Tanky enemy changes:
60 health => 40 health
Classic enemy changes:
20 health => 12 health (this does not innately hit any damage breakpoint as base damage is still 10, but it makes neurotoxin and explosions much stronger)

I agree! And that's why I'm pretty sure this game is nearly done, maybe an extra update and it's ready for full release.
