Added new monsters that can be selected as well as new Leader Skills, Battle Traits, and Assist Skills. Also took some time to give a little more information about the game.

Kingler jumps in to perform a Team Asisst
You may have up to 3 monsters on a team. The Lead monster will be dishing out most of the damage while monsters on Standby can come out temporarily to us a special assist skill. While I am using pokemon images for the demo, please consider them to be placement holders until I can find someone to do orginal art work. So lets talk about the demo and battling.

Kingler eats one to the face…
Each Monster on you team can can equip Leader Skills, Assist Skill, and Battle Traits.
(In the demo be sure to equip your monsters with thier skills and battle traits before you jump into battle. You may do so by clicking “STATS” on the monster selection screen.)
Leader Skills
Leader Skills are skills that can be used while you monster is set as the Team Leader. (First active monster in your party.) You may equip up to 4 Leader Skills at a Time. You require Command Points (CP) in order to use leader skills in battle.
Command Points
Your remaining Command Points is represented in the upper left corner of the screen as the white numerical texts inside the little blue bubble. On the opposite end of the screen you can view your opponent’s reaming CP in order to help you plan your strategy. As mentioned before, you use CP to unleash powerful Skills from your lead monster. You recover CP whenever you use Standard Attacks and whenever you take damage from your opponent. Note that whenever you attack your opponent they gain CP as well relative to the amount of damage they take so don’t go blasting away with your big guns without forethought. The Max CP you can hold is 99, and both monsters start battle with 50 CP. (May change in the future)

Select “Attack” to use a Standard Attack, and Leader Skill to use a…. duh
Standby
Monsters on standby cannot interact in battle, though they might have have supportive Battle Traits that can help the team leader (more on that later). It is important to know that monsters on standby will slowly recover RED health at the end of each turn. You may be familiar with Red health mechanics from fighting games such as Marvel Vs Capcom or Tekken Tag Team, the same principle applies here. Monsters on standby or shown underneath your Team Leader’s health bar. From the image above you can spot Kingler and Charazard patiently waiting their turn.
Team Assist
In order to perform a Team Assist, you require full Assist Gauge. This is the yellow/green meter in the upper left (right for your opponent) corner of the screen which surrounds the blue sphere. You fill the meter by acquiring Assist Points (AP). AP is rewarded whenever you use Leader Skills, Standard Attacks, or take damage from enemy attacks. As you acquire AP your gauge will fill with a yellow meter. When full, your Assist Gauge will start to flash Green, indicating that you are now able to use a Team Assist Skill. Team Assists can only be used by monsters that are on standby. When you use a Team Assist your assisting monster will temporarily join the balte, but they will be vulnerable to enemy attacks that can hit multiple targets (In the demo, only oil spill, meteor storm and swarm can hit multiple targets.) Additionally monsters that use Team Assist skills take 50% more damage from enemy attacks so be careful when using them. Each monster can only equip 1 team assist skill.
(You can see Kingler using a Team Assist in the first screenshot)
Battle Traits
Battle traits are passive and are always active once you equip them. Each monster can equip up to 2 Battle traits but are limited by “Set” Points. Battle Traits add a whole new layer of strategy to the battle as they type of effects the grant are wide and vary.
Examples of Battle traits available in the demo.
Courage: Monster recovers 10 CP each turn. (Leader only)
Regen: Recovers HP+6% each turn. (leader only)
Auto Guard: Occasionally reduces damage taken by half.
Gorge: Recovers+30% HP when defeating an enemy.
Equiping battle traits also inflcue your monster’s attribute. Depending on the type of trait they may enhace ATK, HP or severly cripple them, its up to you to way the positive and negatives of equipping them and how they will help make your team stronger.

Please try the demo and let me know what your thoughts are.
