First off, game's not cancelled. Literally all of the main night characters are coded in, and scrapping the pirate caverns has decreased the workload by a lot, so we're at least about 50% done with the game. Nah, to cancel by now would be ridiculous when we're already so far in development.
... the problem, however is that remaining 50%. I promised a couple boss fights, and I'm more than confident in pulling them off, but the problem is I haven't quite figured them out as quickly as I hoped.
I want to make this game as good as it possibly can be, so here's my plan; instead of bruteforcing these fights until i get any kind of result, I'm gonna take a bit of time to ruminate on what I want them to be (maybe even make a smaller game in the meanwhile), and try to slowly chip away as i get more and more ideas on what i want to do. and also maybe. add more characters to the almanac beyond just pnm and oswald because i forgot that existed whoopsee
until then. at the very least i think it's possible for this game to release in this year as long as i actually work on this game. after all, the year just started so I've got plenty of time..... i hhope
