(Game Spoilers) Current development summary for the month of "February"


February Development Summary 2/1/24 - 3/1/24

I connected every section of Windhaven together so far, so I could travel from Melbourne all the way to the Meridian Desert.

I also managed to finish the next dungeon and boss which will be connected to the Fiery Cascades area.

I have released all Pre-Alpha music onto Soundcloud for free listening as well as all new music added up until now made into the Volume 3 album.

Several improvements to enemies have been made, I recently discovered the feature in the engine to allow boss enemies to behave differently when you defeat them, so instead of a white flash for every enemy, the bosses will now slowly die and dissipate, which I believe adds a better feeling when you defeat them. I've also started work on the third boss of the game, which will be the strongest out of all three so far.

I plan on making tons of new quests and things to do but the overworld is my main goal right now.

Mindhive: Wilds is set in the captivating and diverse Windhaven province. This picturesque region boasts a stunning landscape that includes majestic mountains, meandering rivers, serene lakes, and remnants of the once-opulent city of Windview.

Classes are getting improved in v1.9 and a proper class choosing screen will arrive in v2.0!
