Hello! I’m starting this devlog to catalog my progress as I work on the meatly Game Jam. I’m planning to make a game where you escort children through a forest haunted by mascots. So…yeah, solid plan. Have any ideas? Try sending them. I need all the help I can get. A title would be particularly helpful.
Right now:
Trying to figure out why one character has a tendency to shoot across the level like a rocket on methamphetamine.
We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Family band complete!
In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
