Hi everyone! I’d like to share some updates about the project. In my previous post, I mentioned that I’m working on the game map. That’s still somewhat true. The game doesn’t have an enormous map, but there’s a lot packed into it. I model everything myself to make sure the map feels truly alive. I try to give each area plenty of nooks and interesting spaces – whether it’s a small side storage room or the main office where the player spends a significant part of the game. I want players to enjoy spending time in these spaces, and I aim to achieve that partly through the variety of rooms.
So how’s the game map coming along?
Surprisingly well! The map is gradually being completed, and I can start showing different parts of it. The first of these is already here – the image above this post shows the first render of the office.
Another change concerns the graphics on the Game Jolt page. The game description has been revamped and enriched with more information – covering both the story and gameplay.
Speaking of the story: it’s also progressing nicely. I’m aiming for a slightly more paranormal approach while keeping it original, rather than following the usual FNaF-style narrative. I explore concepts like souls and the paranormal, but I take them in a slightly different direction. I’m not making the animatronics lost souls, but rather trying to create something that players will genuinely have reason to fear.
Another point is the character models. The models are now finalized and their designs planned. Some characters are already on their sixth version, and I’m finally happy with the results.
I hope to create something that brings new and interesting ideas and concepts. At the same time, I’m open to your opinions and questions. I’d love to hear what you think about all of this. Also, I’d really appreciate it if you shared the project.
Thank you for reading.
