It's been a long time since I started developing this game; there have been very productive periods and others less so. I haven't worked for months and months, and the game was in danger of not being released due to my commitments, my laziness, the academy, and other things here and there.
Only at the beginning of this year, while playing Silksong for the first time, did I say to myself, "But instead of wasting time playing, I could use this time to work!" And boom. After a month of uninterrupted development, I finally made the necessary cuts and decided to release the game as soon as possible.
There were many things I wanted to include in the full game, but a lack of desire and time pushed me to discard certain ideas and, at most, revisit them in a hypothetical future where I could add this stuff I have in mind. But the priority remains the base game; that needs to be released first, and then we'll see whether the rest should be included in an update or not.
But the base game has actually been finished for quite some time. So far, I've been hesitating over a couple of minigames that I wasn't sure whether to include or not, and this indecision has cost me almost a year and a half of hiatus.
But I've pushed forward and made a lot of progress, so much so that I might have the game in a couple of months, if all goes well.
Here's a screenshot of the custom mode; as you can see, it's packed with stuff I can't wait for you to try out.
For the rest, have some PATIENCE (yes, exactly, I'm referring to the mood) and wait for future updates.
