Ghost Dashing Mechanic

So far, I have two ideas on how I am going to limit these ghost abilities. The first idea was to have these goblets of green fire across the game, you activate it and that acts as one ghost ability usage. This would allow some pretty challenging platforming, like in the examples below.

The second idea is to have them as a one time pickup, which could be rewarded after finishing certain parts of the game, it would then replenish either over time and/or through enemy pickups. It would still allow challenging platforming, but it means having enemies at certain places in the game.

I haven’t implemented this second idea, but it’s something I will figure out and see which works better, but once one has been decided upon, it would be hard to revert back to the other once the game is more developed.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
