kart racer is a dumb name because some racing games don't even use karts, like Sonic. those are cars Sonic said, also I saw someone call this snowboarding racing game a kart racer... it's not a kart, it's a snowboard...!

not my favorite Mario Kart game, it's actually pretty low on the list.
my favorite character is Tanooki Mario, I like that he uses some of the voice lines from the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga GBA game.
also I've noticed that in the stats, the last one is called grip in some places, and mine says traction. i think that stat is for the drift.
I've also found out that every character has a rival, like Yoshi's rival is Donkey Kong. i play as Tanooki Mario, I keep seeing Cat Peach, so I think Cat Peach is Tanooki Mario's rival. what the rival is, they are the one CPU that does good. you'll see them a lot near 1st place.
my favorite cup is the Egg cup. the new cups that were made for Mario Kart 8 and not the DLC tracks from the Wii U and the Deluxe are not that interesting to me. i like the old tracks and the DLC tracks better. i don't have the Booster Course Pass DLC on Deluxe, so I don't know if they're good.
i played Mario Kart 8 on the Wii U and got all the dlc. i am playing on the Deluxe, Switch version.
