But this is about games, right? The most effort I've ever put into racing was thru Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but that was for the completionist in me, rather than appreciating the racing. If this is about favorites, it's likely something that had racing feel secondary to me, with another task taking more interest. 
I guess I still enjoy F-Zero, which I can play via my Nintendo Switch should the itch strike me. In two different ways, mind you, given the existence of F-Zero 99. The future space faring environment and minimalist approach to storytelling allows me to disassociate, which makes me feel awful to admit, but...games are a disassociation, are they not? This feels like it should be a separate poll now.
