Gnome More War is Now Playable

After a bit of last minute work converting the game to Unity WebGL, the game made it in time for the beta release! Sadly, I was only able to test it on Firefox (worked great) and a little bit on Chrome (has a little bit of audio issue). This is where you guys come in. I need beta testers! All manner of feedback are welcome and appreciated, so feel free to give them away like I’m some sort of refugee. ;)

I will also start integrating the API to add highscores, game save, and trophies/badges.

Here's to hoping 2021 will be much better than 2020. Happy New Year!

Combat test with the Player Assist system. It can get frantic! #gamedev #screenshotsaturday #madewithunity

Done with character swapping! Swap between the melee tank (Aether) and the long ranged mage (Myst). It's gonna be be fun designing levels that accommodate contrasting play styles. #screenshotsaturday

I thought I had move on...but Google Play warned me to update my app to support the latest Android version or else it would be taken down. Now I have new gameplay ideas so I decided to make another update. Coming to Gamejolt soon!

I ran the same test with the Player Swap mechanic. You can only choose between one or the other, depends on your decision on who will join your adventure. #gamedev #godstear #madewithunity

Made some adjustments to the boss AI so that the fight is more strategic, less spammy. This is meant to be the first boss encounter. What do you guys think?

Title Screen v3

Update 1.1.8c is out now. With this I have optimized the game to take up around 300mb of RAM. Hopefully this eliminates all those ANRs and crashes! Check it out: https://tinyurl.com/2s43rhk8

War Room Redux After gathering some feedback about the War Room mockup I made, here’s an updated one. The background is no longer a placeholder, and I removed the “girl” character…it takes away from the scene.

I'm starting on a new level (Dark Forest), but before I dress it up I need to make sure it plays good, so I start by laying out the paths using wireframe tilesets. #gamedev
