Game
Five Nights At Slenderman's: The Re-Arrival
5 months ago

Gonna go quiet till the demo actually releases, but as one last dev update, our progress on the demo is about 50 percent. (more info in article)

basic office gameplay? Pretty much done. Characters' behavior is pretty much done, they can kill you and you can deal with them, and you can complete a night. Plus, as mentioned before, all renders for them are finished, and now imported, too!
So, what's the holdup? Pretty much everything else. Screen transitions, story, game progression, tutorials, indicators for things like power/sanity, tweaking the lighting effect in the office, putting in a few easter eggs, all that junk.

It shouldn't take us too long to implement these things, as making sure the characters work is arguably the most important part, but even still, it's quite a bit of work to do, so it won't be a short affair either.

Nevertheless! This is still good for us. We've been making good progress, and if we're able to get all this done, not only should it help the demo get out, but it will also help out development of the game in the long run, meaning the rest of development will only get smoother (hopefully).

We hope you all look forward to what we've got....

it's dark :(

Someone decompiled the game and found this, so I may as well show it off to everyone.

This was an early attempt at giving the Puppeteer a face behind the mask. Canonically, it still looks like this, or at least used to, just uhhh... better looking

Found a game called Springtrap: The Return, and on night 3 it introduces a second, more red Springtrap who’s like 20x faster but also shy.

Needless to say, I think this should become a staple of all Fnaf 3 / Fredbear / Springtrap games immediately

An update on developement (actually posivite suprisingly)

De-spaghettification update: We've also decided to redo the map to better suit the gameplay.

In the meantime, have this "expanded" version of our roster image. As always, there may be more characters, but this is our base.

This new version will have cameras in it

we will be including a little secret in the demo as a sort of "sorry for taking so long"

hey guys i said that i would be back later you are about to get owned by the terminator

To those who're curious, once ETF 2.0 releases, we're likely going to make some kind of video and/or master-post talking about our plans for the future games that won't see the light of day now.

Maybe we'll even throw in some character renders, who knows?

Doing some menu streamlining
