Good bye Camera Manager!, we are getting a Launcher and Video Manager Test Patterns are coming! | Status Devlog #23


What is up everyone?
Welcome to a new Status Devlog!
So I’m finally back from vacation and ready to work again on our loved game. Leon worked on new things while I was visiting the world. You want to know what he was working on? Then let’s directly start!

A Launcher is coming!

We are getting a Dukes Games Launcher! In this Launcher you can of course start the game, visit our social media pages and more. Like I said Leon is still working on it so I can’t say much more about this but he will post a sneak peek soon in our Discord Announcements Channel so feel free to visit the server! https://discord.gg/QCDH6QP

Video Manager Test Patterns

I thought alot about these test patterns the video screens of a stage are showing up before the show is starting. To give you an example:

Stage Simulator got the name Simulator in it so it needs to simulate something and of course we cannot forget these details that give the game more depth. As soon as I have removed the Camera Manager I will get my hands on the test patterns. I don’t know how much these will be but I thought of something around 2-4.

The voting was finished and it was clear that we should remove this manager. I want to apologize for all the people that used this manager regularly any didn’t wanted that this Manager will be removed but removing it will reduce the development time and give the game more performance.

So that’s it again for this a little bit shorter Status Devlog. But as always I hope you enjoyed these news. We are not having much free time to work on this game at the moment but we will give our best to release update 0.23 this month.
