Got a ton of poisonous/regular potatoes laying around?

Why not craft them into the all-new "Fiberboard" and "Potato Fiber" blocks?

(This is part of a modpack I am producing, and is not in the base game)


Yes. I added a use for poisonous potatoes in my latest mod: "The Builder's Vault". Below is a guide on how to turn leftover potatoes into new blocks for decoration:

1. Crafting Potato Pulp:

  • Combine 4 Potatoes (both regular and poisonous potatoes work) to create Potato Pulp, which functions as both a material and a food item.

2. Smelting Potato Pulp:

  • Smelt the Potato Pulp in a furnace to make Potato Fiber.

3. Crafting Fiberboard:

  • Combine 2 Potato Fiber and 2 Sticks to create Fiberboard. Or you can craft a Block of Potato Fiber by combining 4 Potato Fiber.

4. Advanced Crafting:

  • 4 Fiberboard blocks can be crafted into 2 Reinforced Fiberboard blocks

  • 4 Reinforced Fiberboard blocks can be crafted into 2 Compressed Fiberboard blocks.

A download for the new version will soon be added to the GameJolt page for this mod. This mod requires Forge, and only works on version 1.20.1
