First of all thank you guys for giving your time! As you know, LNaFF (Late Nights at Freddy Fazbear's), the latest and visually lore accurate Fnaf Plus fan-game under development by @Sigma228
is cancelled and here I have to confirm alot of things that happened behind the scenes and many of you don't know.
What happened and whats the situation🤷🏻?
LNaFF is cancelled sadly and it hits hard to me and maybe to you guys too but that dose not mean that the efforts of @Sigma228
creating LNaFF, his hard-work and progress is worthless! Even it is cancelled, He gave us a cancelled BETA build to play so we don't go with empty hands and that alone proves his efforts and dedication. Effort matters.
The real problem is in the recent copyright case and the problem is in how the case was handled. Of course it is not a good thing to steal someone's leaked content without his permission and even doing it again and again after but instead of guiding a developer privately or giving advice kindly, harsh words are used in public that felt more like an attack on someone's hard work then help! The kind of treatment like saying someones game poor, cheap and shallow for just a repeating mistake doesn't point out flaws—it kills motivation and it already happened. Of course it is good to protect your stuff being used without permission but the sentences used in this case are far more then protection of stuff but more likely a personal disrespect disgaused professionalism to a creator and is a direct attack on his ability and worth.
Saying “you’ll never achieve what FNaF Plus was meant to be” → That’s not about copyright, that’s a direct attack on Sigma’s ability and worth.
Dismissing Sigma’s project as “meaningless YouTube fame” → That’s not protecting your own work, that’s belittling Sigma as a creator.
Acting like Sigma’s game will never be close to FNaF Plus → That’s gatekeeping the community, when in reality, Sigma has worked hard, gained supporters, and even has connections to people who worked with Phisnom.
💡 Here’s the truth:
Even if Sigma made mistakes (like using assets without permission), the way forward is acknowledging, apologizing, and improving — which he already did. That’s the mature route. But when another dev publicly humiliates him, it stops being about “protecting assets” and starts being about ego and bullying. @Sigma228
is a person who apologizes.
Let's be honest! Using someone's leaked assets without permission is disrespect but in reply, bullying him and saying him that "you will never get what you want to achieve even if you try. Your game with poor programing is not even 50% close to original one" is not a personal disrespect to you where in reality, its for him and its killing motivation. If such big and respectful creators think like that for @Sigma228
then take my message: "create a game 100% accurate to official one yourself or make the release of the official game possible, then talk! If you can't then step aside and leave this to someone who is actually trying." Its true we cannot compare our level to creators like "Scott or Phisnom"! They are legends in this community. But @Sigma228
is trying and we are in no position to downgrade his efforts and hard work. Fredtime plus is nothing more then a canceled project and at least we were getting something new but its all ruined now. Even if @Sigma228
is not close to 50%, we appreciate his efforts, and efforts matter far more then perfection. @Sigma228
was trying—and that counts.
Let's be clear! People will remember who actually gave them a game to play — not who shouted the loudest.
⭐ Effort matters. Even if a game is “50% close” or “90% close,” what matters most is that he tried and gave fans something real.
⭐ Harsh words don’t just “call out” — they can ruin someone’s spirit.
⭐ The community still appreciates and loves Sigma’s work, no matter what others say.
He gave us something real, even if it’s unfinished. Meanwhile, cancelled projects that vanish without leaving anything playable don’t erase the value of his efforts.
This is not about starting drama—it’s about ending it. Respect matters. Support matters. Effort matters. Let this be the final word: downgrading developers helps no one, but appreciating effort keeps the community alive.”
At the end of the day, the community remembers those who create and share — not those who silence others with insults.
