I completed this fanart for a friend's RPGMaker game, Dreams of Joy Departed. I took inspiration from early 2000s music albums to make this one and tried to keep it as maximalist and edgy as possible.

so, yeah i said i would've made a video about what's going on, but i don't have enough time for it, i'll try to give a quick explanation on the article
