hello!!

i'm so sorry, it's been a bit without me updating you guys at all, i'm beyond sorry
SO, after the release of the demo (+ the very small update that basically changed nothing), i hadn't done much work at all, but now it's all good and progress is smooth again
now, i'll get to the thingies.

  • New shit

so, technically 4 am is done, what i mean is, it's sorta done, basically (without revealing too much) i've been working a lot of it and although i personally like it a lot, it feels too short, so i will see whether or not i expand it, i'm not sure just yet.
next, as you can see in the screenshots, i made a difficulty thingy based off the like, mvm wave thingy. the only reason i made it was because i didn't like using the stars for the difficulty.
two of demo's skills got removed and replaced with different ones. the following are the ones that got removed (+ why i removed them):

- Barbarian Swing: It was literally just a backup bash copy.

- Alcoholic Strike: It inflicted burn, but the status effect "burn" kinda sucked ass (all it did was reduce the effectiveness of healing moves, which made it not too useful since only a few bosses can heal and by then you weren't even at the level needed to get the skill.)

Instead both of those got replaced with support moves:

- Cyclop's Stare: Has a 30% chance to inflict fear on enemies. Fear works the same as paralysis, but unlike paralysis, it will not work on bosses, but it does work against some mini bosses, with a lower chance of course. It's useful to use against a group of enemies.

- Drunkard's Numbness: Demoman drinks a special mix of his scrumpy concocted by medic, this makes him unable to be inflicted by most negative status effects. Also, upon using the move all negative status effects and debuffs you currently have will be removed.

  • That's all

that's all for the time being. again, i'd like to apologize for the lack of updates and i'd also like to apologize for not showing too much in the screenshots because i want to keep most of it hidden until the full release. like i mentioned earlier in the post, i will probably expand the 4th hour because it just feels too short imo, as for the 5th hour, i believe i have found what to do for it, but before i start working on it, i will finish playtesting the 4th and see if i'll expand it or not.

So

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
