Here's a look at random encounters and the new room.

The snail Tabby has allows her to cast spells, in a sense.

Tabby, being the SOUL of PATIENCE, can also WAIT in battle to skip her turn and gain 4 TP. This does NOT give a defense bonus like DEFEND does.
