Get a drawing program (FireAlpaca is the best one for this, since I will soon have the brush preset for Freckly's available one the game page)
Use a 12-24pt sized pixel brush (FireAlpaca doesn't have one by default, so I made the Freckly Brush preset that you can download off the game page in a sec)
Exaggerate proportions to a cartoony degree
Try not to use shading, UNLESS it is necessary for the scene(For example, I added drop shadow, and used some Blender 4.0 lighting for the teaser image. Yes, THAT Blender, the 3D one)
Use dot eyes(Usually with one that defies the laws of physics and floats off of your character's face)
Use the a 24pt brush for bigger characters and scenes, a 16-20pt brush for most characters and scenes, and a 12-15pt brush for smaller characters and scenes
Voila! You have your very own Sunky/Freckly Styled Character! Now you can make your own goofy games and art.
