After I came back from break, the head cook put one of the pots he used next to the sink in the dish hall, and when something is hot the cooks should ALWAYS announce to the dishwashers when something is, for some reason he didnt say anything about it (mainly cuz he was on his damn phone) so It had me thinking that it was safe to clean but god fuckin damn was I wrong, grabbed one of the handles and yanked my hand back so fast, now the tips of my fingers and palm of my hand are burnt to hell.

Now I'm just chilling in the break room with some burn cream on my hand, hoping that the pain will at least ease out enough for me to continue my job but idk.
