The background features Yumemi (Mari's mother; but at the same age as her original counterpart). The fact that the art depicts her crying is somewhat alludes to the fact that Yumemi (and those who knows Mari) are grieving for the loss of Mari due to her death by inadvertent food poisoning, even though Mari is now enjoying the bliss of Heaven after her soul's transformation into an angel of the Heavens.

The harp and trumpet used in this track hinted what happened to Mari after her death: She ascended to Heaven and became an angel afterwards. (Since harps and trumpets are mainly associated with angels)

Since both Asgore and Yumemi wear capes, and both have the backstory of losing their children (well, at least in my Touhou AU for Yumemi), so I immediately associated this track with Yumemi. (Great choice, I told to myself)
