Was also considering making a multi-part tutorial.
Part 1 would be how to use the pattern editor, frame editor, instrument editor, effects, and other basics using the base 2A03, as well as an overview of how the NES handles sound, numbers, values, and whatnot. Part 2 would be me covering the various sound expansion chips like the Konami VRC6 and Namco 163. Part 3 would cover some various tips and tricks that aren’t exactly necessary but are useful, as well as some useful techniques I’ve picked up over my time making chiptune, and how to write in certain styles of various games.
