Basically, I just was NOT having that much fun with Game Jolt as of recent times, and in general, I was busy as hell

The reasons I wasn't having fun is what I will get to now

1. The toxicity of the platform

   This is NOT everyone, but I swear, I couldn't go one day without seeing someone say shit like "REPORT AND BLOCK so-and-so FOR HARRASSING MY FRIEND AND BEING EVUL" and then I check so-and-so's profile and see nothing bad happening. Like, dawg, chill tf out.
   Like, deadass, I originally posted on Game Jolt because @Nugggt told me to get it, and he had met some pretty damn cool people on here, and I had never had any online friends before, so I gave it a shot to see what would happen. And here I am a year and a half later :P
   But all in all, the longer you are here, the more and more I notice "Ima kms" here or "REPORT THIS GUY" there, and to me, it seems like a load of dookie coming from a guy who js wanted to post stuff I liked. Which brings me to my next point...

2. I never feel like I was actually getting any fans/followers

   Now, yes, I do have 900 followers, and yes, I have gotten nearly 7000 likes (thank yall btw) but I never really felt like too many people (with some exceptions) really followed me for... well, me.
   May seem kind of corny, but I just want to post stuff and have people who follow me for the stuff I like and WANT to post about. I also originally got GJ so I could share art and be exposed to the communities I hadn't really seen before too much outside of Youtube. But with the pit of people js following people in the hope they follow them back (which I fell victim to) makes so many people who unauthentically are following you—they don't care abt your posts or interests, the same way idrc about theirs. The follow button is meant to show support to the members here you actually care to see the work of, who you actually wanna see do good, and NOT just to increase YOUR follow count.

3. The kids

   I never noticed this before until I got older, but the kids on here are deadass super annoying. It may be that one "pressure entity doors you?" kid or just someone else who is really REALLY annoying.
   I get that kids will be kids or whatever, but they flood this platform, and I really just wanted to be able to meet actually responsible people. I wanted this place to be a place to actually share creations, as Game Jolt is marketed as, but unfortunately, that's just not the case if you're in the same groups of people like I am.

All in all, I don't hate the platform, and I deadass have met some pretty cool people, but I honestly wanna use this site as it was meant to be.
With that being said, if I don't post again (which I really would like to), I hope all of yall have a great time. This has meant a lot to me and kickstarted my "career" I ig.
I have met cool people, and I enjoyed my time, but as far as I'm aware, not much has changed since I was last active. If it has, lemme know.
So, uh, yeah.
