Peter was more humble than a lot of other characters he knew, He was willing to lose everything to keep the multiverse safe and he's always cared about his villains. No matter what, he was willing go out of his way to cure The Sinister 5 instead of sending them to their fates unlike Doctor Strange and he never was willing to activate instant kill until he needed it. Like come on! That's screaming "THE CHILD IS WORTHY!"
