Five Nights At Slenderman's: The Re-Arrival

Hi

Sorry we’ve not been posting a lot of development progress; Still struggling with GMS, and we haven’t really been able to find anyone to give us a hand yet. We can at least guarantee that we at least plan on finishing and releasing the game before the end of the year; we just need to get past this annoying hurdle, and hopefully we can only speed up from there.

What does this have you do with the character posted above? Well, consider them apart of the apology; They’re a part of the 8 new characters from this game! Masky, from the slender series marble hornets. Their role (as of our current plans) is simple: they come to your office, and if they do; it’s just over. No door can save you. To prevent this, stare at him, wherever he is to send him back to a previous camera. Of course, this is still a wip mechanic so we might need to do some finetuning to make the mechanic work, but the main idea is to force the player to be riskier with checking the cameras; Contrasting a character you shouldn’t stare at, with a character you absolutely need to stare at.

We’re hoping to make their design stranger to make them fit in better with the game, but it’ll still be recognizable as masky. Hopefully you’ll look forward to seeing our other characters planned, as we definitely intend to have a diverse cast of characters where no two of them are the same. As one hint for another; If you consider what we’re working with, they’re more obvious than you think.

That’s all though. Sorry if this is a little slapdash, it’s 12:44 AM currently and I really wanted to give you fellas a post like this. Hopefully we can make progressively bigger dents sooner or later

it's dark :(

we will be including a little secret in the demo as a sort of "sorry for taking so long"

Even despite the fact that we haven’t been posting, we have still been working!!! And with that, we have actual news:

We may have found an obscure channel that's an absolute treasure trove of old, lost, and forgotten fangames.

That aside, Five Nights at Fazbear's Prologue was high-key cooking.

To those who're curious, once ETF 2.0 releases, we're likely going to make some kind of video and/or master-post talking about our plans for the future games that won't see the light of day now.

Maybe we'll even throw in some character renders, who knows?

Doing some menu streamlining

Wasn't a big fan of how I designed the map, so I'm changing it.

This new version will have cameras in it

Someone decompiled the game and found this, so I may as well show it off to everyone.

This was an early attempt at giving the Puppeteer a face behind the mask. Canonically, it still looks like this, or at least used to, just uhhh... better looking
