Hi, it's been a while, hasn't it. This post will explain everything that has happened this past year.

So, this game has been on hiatus for the past year or so, but I haven't announced it anywhere.

That being said, has anything been done?

Yes, a pretty significant amount of stuff has been worked on and improved.

  1. Story

The story has been changed a lot, and I mean a lot, the core idea is still there but a majority of the gameplay elements and lore have been completely rewritten by yours truly!

2. Sprites

Not really much here, but the main character, now named Mike has an actual sprite, don't have the sprite right now but I'll post it when it has been worked on a bit more.

3. Engine

We used to make this game using Game Maker Studio 2. But after a lot of thinking, we have decided to switch to the Unity game engine.

Thanks to the engine switch, we can now work on the game much faster.

4. Coding

As I've stated, we switched the engine, that means the code will be completely rewritten. I will try to work on the game as much as i can.

SUMMARY:

We have been working on the game, it's not cancelled and will come out eventually.

Expect a small demo sometime next year. Take care!

For now here is some concept art

Quantum precognition is one of the most powerful cards. End game cards & equipment. Demo/alpha build boss is no match for this deck.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

I was bored, so... ManutKat.

"Our work is never over" they said.

Just a Pico sprite

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698
