First of all I didn't use his original color palette because since none of my opponents are using it on this version, why couldn't I? besides i think it adds a little personality or uniqueness to my playthrough hmm hmmm (also there's some color swaps that are actually cool)
Gen first debuted in the very first Street Fighter game, and he's reintroduced in this game. He has an illness and wants to die in battle
(I will try to achieve and put the secret rival dialogue here later)

I swear i knew more about their rivalty before but i forgot. I will search about it later, i'm very very tired.
He's a stance character, so he can change between stances, which means he can have more than 1 move list. He has 2 stances: Mantis (Default, can change to Crane with KKK) and Crane (Can change to Mantis with PPP).

Mantis focuses on having a good set of normals for combos and having simple specials and super combos, in exchange for relatively decent movement with nothing to defend yourself against fireballs. For specials, you have a barrage of close-ranged fists (Hyakurenkou) that get your opponent away from you, and a barrage of close-ranged kicks (Gekirou) that are more harder to perform, but do good amounts of damage.
For Super Combos, his Zan'ei is a travelling mid-ranged punch that, if connected while Gen trespasses his opponent (as in, anything but after he stops moving), it does the full damage with no chance of counterattack, and his Shitenshu... uhh...
His Shitenshuu is a barrage of close-ranged punches that, if the final hit connects, your opponent gets knocked back and gets a special countdown of 9 seconds that can be stopped if Gen receives damage. It will drain a bit of your opponent's health per second and, if it goes to 0, they get automatically stunned.
This stance is perfect for close-range pressure as you can do some sick combos with it, I even got a perfect thanks to it!
Now, about Crane... I never got to fully understand how Crane works myself since it's far more complex than Mantis, apparently Crane gives you more mobility choices as specials at the cost of slower but stronger normals, think of Vega/Claw but slowed down a bit, that is Gen's Crane stance. His Down + LK makes your opponent jump i think that's funny. His jumps are high and slow, optimal against Sagat's fireballs.
For specials, we first have his Jasen, which is a charge, travelling mid-range barrage where Gen rolls and yeah that's it, good for getting below fireballs. And then, the menace comes
Ouga. Hold Down then press Up + Any K, so it's a charge special, Gen jumps to the upper right/left corner of the wall and will either:
(If done by input) Launch a kick with varied strength depending on which Kick button you press
(If jumping manually) Launch a long-ranged kick depending on which directional buttons (only left/right) you press, or do nothing if nothing is pressed
If jumping manually, you can press up so Gen can jump to the ceiling and then:
A. (Pressing nothing) Fall down and launch an horizontal kick
B. (Pressing Up again) Fall to the opposite direction
C. (Pressing Left or Right) Fall down and launch a kick depending on which direction is chosen.
GEEZ
For Super Combos, his Kouga is an anti-air grab, that's it.
His Jakouha, however... (oh no not this again)
In air, Tatsumaki input + K... he jumps to the opposite wall and does 2 kicks. After it starts, you can either:
(Pressing LK) Jump on the left wall
A. (Pressing nothing) Do the 2nd kick directed at your opponent
B. (Pressing MK) Do the 2nd kick close to the wall
C. (Pressing LK or HK) Do the 2nd kick like A, but crossing up too
or
(Pressing HK) Jump on the right wall
A. (Pressing nothing) Same with the wall difference
B. (Pressing MK) Do the 2nd kick while crossing up without directing at your opponent
C. (Pressing LK or HK) Same with the wall difference
OR
(Pressing MK) Jump on the Ceiling
A. (Nothing) Fall down and do the normal kick
B. (Pressing MK) Fall down and do the 2nd kick to the left
C. Pressing LK or HK) Fall down and do the 2nd kick to the right
Sigh... If you do the input on Level 2 (KK) he does 3 kicks changing between walls/sides instead. And if you do it on Level 3 he does 2 kicks changing walls and 2 on ceilings
GEEZ IM OUT OF THIS PLEASE WATCH THE SHOWCASE VIDEO INSTEAD IT'S SO MUCH EASIER TO UNDERSTA
