FOR FIRST WE WANT TO MENTION GRAMMAR ERRORS, IT'S LONG POST SO BE AWARE IT WAS A CHAOS TO WRITE IT CORRECTLY ( And we do not communicate in English on a daily basis )
So, as you can know, Pillars Of Silence had maaaaany changes since BETA came out... Let us show you how game development was going and we will also tell you about some removed ideas that we had in plans to add in Pillars Of Silence, Let's get started
First steps of Development
Year after Eyes Of Evil release, we decided to return with our game series, we started making game called: Herlky: The psychosisgame was supposed to be a pre quel of Eyes of Evil where you play as Jonathan Gredl, you are working in Freddy Fazbears Pizza in 1986, with time Restaurant transforming to Hippo Restaurant after purchase restaurant by Lucas Smith, But his Son Fritz Smith becomes, psychopath and making next hell in Freddy's history...
It was the first time we did a Hippo restaurant location, whet is allready in Pillars Of SilenceGame was in development unitl we finished night 2... Then ALL plans changed, we decided to move on from Prequel of Eyes of evil to SEQUEL of Eyes Of Evil and we stated game called
The Dark Razor
P.S: Herlky The Psychosis idea is not totally scrapped, maybe someday wi will return to these times :)
Herlky The Dark razor
we changed game page of the old game and started with development...
FIRST DESCREPTION OF THE DARK RAZOR:-----------------------------------------------------------
Herlky: The Dark Razor is telling about 16 years old girl who want to know truth about her "Brother": Fritz Smith...
But he... He is not human anymore... He is alive but in robot
Like William Afton? NO! Because his body is still in one
piece... Its luck to still alive after many years of turned off the whole body...

With time we decided to totally create new game page, so more people will see it... To make this game page as good as we was able at these times we had to make this game page hidden for a month before we made this looked "Good"First step of making game page: Trying to make a banner

First we made a scene for a thumbnail
Later we made a Herlky pose for a thumbnail and after that we exported project to FBX and lated imported to Unreal engine 4
Later we made a render and edited it to make a thumbnail...

After that we started making BETA version of the game + with time we changed game name from "The Dark Razor" to "Pillars Of Silence" and we finally gave game page on public
BETA RELEASE. After BETA release we was totally dissapointed with effects, game looked UGLY and we was supriced that some youtubers even recorded it on Youtube... But still... BETA was dissapointing. Game had a lot of Bugs, lighting was ugly and looked like next shitpost fan game
DEMO
After that we started a first DEMO version, we changed desing of "Nights" in game to "Pillars" and First Night we changed to Introduction, later we started REAL Pillar 1
Demo was something was we was LESS dissapointed at least...
REMOVED PILLAR 1 PART IN FULL GAME:

Pillar 1 fixing electric box: the mechanics appeared in the DEMO version of the game. Part of the level was that after you got caught by Funtime Bonnie in Pillar 1, you got locked in a certain room in the workshop: the only way out was to fix the electrical box by fixing some glitches with your laptop. While repairing the electrical box, Funtime Bonnie approached you and you had to watch her for her to go away. This part of pillar 1 has been removed from the gameplay and replaced with a well-known moment where you are locked in an animatronic and need to get out, but the old version is still in the game files

Spider.
Spider: an animatronic that was in the DEMO in pillar 1 at the time of find him. But in full game animatronic was replaced by Herlky
First development and plans for Pillar 2
Pillar 2 was not supposed to happen in Hippo pizzeria as you experienced in the final game
DESCREPTION OF OLD PILLAR 2:

The first pillar 2 was that in the pillar 1 workshop Bonnie Smith collected information about the bad times of Fritz, Bonnie goes to this school to gather more information about Fritz, your task was to get to the staff room where the information about the students was. After getting into the room, S.n.a.k.e was supposed to appear blocking your way (and he says the same chant as in new Pillar 2 when it first turns out) you need to gather information, watch out for S.n.a.k.e who can come in from all sides ... After collecting the information, Bonnie runs away from school, but S.n.a.k.e catches her and we have a similar situation as in the end of pillar 2 but in a different place

The idea was removed because, unfortunately, it did not stick to the plot where S.n.a.k.e. is hidden in the Hippo restaurant, and the element of its appearance in school made no sense
Making New Pillar 2.
It was the most fast Pillar to do... ( At least the new version of Pillar 2) the only problem was animations and some bugs in Office part, but it was'nt a problem to fix it...
FINAL DEMO
After finish Pillar 2 we published FINAL DEMO of the game, we added new locations in Hippo restaurant locations and new task in introduction
Pillar 3
The most funny Pillar to make. First time Pillar was supposed to called: The old times
with time we changed Pillar 3 name from "The Old times" to "Eyes of Evil". Everything becouse location in Pillar 3 was a factory from this game.
Pillar 4
Again... As Pillar 2 it was supposed to be diffrent location
OLD DESCRIPTION OF PILLAR 4:

Pillar 4 was originally not supposed to take place in the abandoned Afton Robotics but in Lucas's old workshop: The tasks were the same as in the current Pillar 4 but with slightly changed mechanics because, Lucas's workshop was supposed to be a complete labyrinth of shelves with parts with sometimes rooms appearing Collecting the green parts of Freddie Fazbear was supposed to be a bit different because you had to produce these parts yourself ... While thinking about the idea of producing parts, we didn't know how to do it yet and as unfortunately the time to do it is over because the final version of the game has already been released however, maybe something like this will appear in future projects

With time we decided to change location of Pillar 4, and we repliced Lucas's workshop with Afton Robotics.
Herlky, Funtime Bonnie and Fritz first re-models
After finish Pillar 4 we made first re-models of Fritz, Funtime Bonnie and Herlky
(We do not have renders of Fritz model)
Adding: Hippo, Lara, Mya and Jordan
And finally we decided to add accully main faces of the Pizzeria: Hippo, Mya, Jordan and Lara, what was the first big change in all levels becouse every cahracter was added somewhere as a new enemy ( For example in introduction level, where you are supposed to grab files from other monitor to your computer we added vent above you, where Jordan is appearing in steps, and when the last step come, you will need to close the vent door )

New Pillar 1
I remember when people got mad at us when we changed workshop in Pillar 1... We still remember when people was saying "Why you changed Workshop, it was better before", but not only look of workshop was changed but also we repliced Electric box mechanic with getting out with an animatronic suit.

Changing Lighting design:
Lighting Style: The lighting style in the game used to be very different at one time, each Pillar had its own lighting style, Pillar 1: Orange, Pillar 2: Green, Pillar 3: Blue, Pillar 4, Violet and Pillar 5: Red The idea itself is still in the game but presented in a different way because now each Pillar has a more realistic lighting style and these colorful lights appear when the animatronics attack you which adds a nice dynamics

And Finally we are in Pillar 5... This Pillar was totally a chaos of removed ideas
FIRST REMOVED IDEA: Destroying animatronics:
You had to take a hammer and fight with all animatronics, you had unlocked all floors in the game, idea was removed becouse of MAAAAANY bugs in AI what we did'nt know then how to fix it
SECOND REMOVED IDEA: Past Ofiice?
For first you had to go to the Office room ( Simillar like in intro ) when you was in office your psychosis make you imagine place like new, Like in times when the restaurant accully worked

And finally after many playtests we realesed game, and we have new project idea in our heads ( Acully idea is finished and now we need to start working on it ) Be we decided to make one VERY IMPORTANT THING
Re-models V1
We asked Scar1111111111 for help on Re-moels, She made a sketches for us, and Draxis was modelling the characters, Everything was finished and ready except extras... But then, some stuff happened and Scar111111111 stoped working on project becouse of some reasons and we decided to make Re-models again this time without Scar1111111 sketches
Re-models V2 ( NOW )
So here we are... we remodelled all characters again, this time without sketches
Some of characters changed to something TOTALLY NEW
And some were Re-models of Re-models not based on the sketches that Scar had given to previous designs ... (Theoretically, the new basis for making new re-models were old Re-models, at least in terms of the head because other body parts like the torso were totally made from scratch without any base)
This is a story of Pillars Of Silence development... New Patch is coming very soon ( 90% is done ) and we hope you will like it when we finish it
