In late 2022, I saw a funny infographic from a biology book comparing the digestive systems of horses and humans. Then, it also showcased a hypothetical human with height altered to include the entirety of a horse’s gut. And I thought to myself, “We see many werewolf stories, but rarely werehorses stories, even though we are both mammals and we’re just as close to them as we are to wolves. If only someone wrote a horror story with all the details of how a person changes the skull to be a horse, etc”. After leaving my writer’s block and after realizing that this is a “now or never” situation (as different parts of the Internet are being suppressed by my county), I decided to write the story and publish it.
