How it works?

Hello again.

As you can see with this new annotated screenshot, I’ve been hard at work getting the gameplay elements in and working. Now it looks like its a simple maze but to see it better I hid the shadow filter that is on the maze so it’s all visible (it will be like previous screenshots in real gameplay).

Now lets just go over this shall we, the current life count is self explanatory really so I’ll skip that.

Whats new is the score count, now this will increase by 1 everytime the player reaches the exit point (light blue dot), and this score is saved to the system forever. If the player loses all his/her lives during the round, the score will decrease by 1, do you understand? (its hard too wrap your head round I know).

Next up is the exit point itself, I designed this system to make it so that the same maps can be played over and over with different routes. This also adds the possibility of custom maps which I am gonna try working on.

There will most likely a button to press in the menu screen which will take you to an ingame editor or I’ll have a template where you can design a map and load it into the game manually, I havent decided yet.

Well thats it for now I think so catch you all later.
