How to update to a new version If you already have the old one? - UPDATED


I just wanted to make a quick post explaining how you can update the game into the newest version If you already have the previous version downloaded. (Gamejolt on browser)

  1. Download the newest version of the game.

  2. Open up a folder where the previous version of the game is located.

  3. Extract everything from the newest version into the previous one and when Windows asks you to replace all the files - do it.

  4. Open up the game and your good to go!

If you have the Gamejolt launcher, just install the game and when the update is required, just update it, simple as that.

If there's gonna be a problem, leave a comment on this post.

Next up

So the NookComp is fully working right now with: Critterpedia, NookMail, Catalog and Bell Bank.

Also Postal system with the Mailbox and Post Office is also working and is hooked up into NookMail on the computer!

I made a list of new animal species that will be eventually added to the game as well as the first ever spider villager sprite - Omari :)

I swore to myself I wouldn’t post anything to avoid spoiling the new gameplay… but here’s a small sneak peek, the most exciting feature yet: your character’s legs move when you turn

New overhauled and fun fishing mechanic with tool durabilty mechanic!! :D I am really happy how it turned out! And it is also integrated with Critterpedia. Don't worry I did not forget about the Museum! Let me know what you think about it! :)
