also either way jeriel is technically a human and every human is canonically an enemy to cagel (yes that includes all of you, reading this post) due to humanity being the reason cagel's species is almost extinct (cagel is the ONLY being remaining of his species) so yeah even if jeriel didn't accidentally do the teleport he would still be an enemy to cagel
