The saddest song I've heard.

It might suits Junko Okazaki very well, since she once lost her adoptive sibling who she loves to death...

See below for more info.

Story of Junko Okazaki and her adoptive sibling

Long ago, there was a child who get lost to Gensokyo.

The child called for help, but nobody came to bring the child back to the Outside World.

Then, Junko Okazaki, the daughter of the ecclesiologist Yumemi Okazaki, came and bring the child back to the Okazaki Residence.

The child was accepted as the adoptive child of the Okazaki family, and is given the name of Itsuki.

The child and Junko grew up to be inseparable.

But one day... The child was attacked severely.

Their dying wish is to be in Heaven with the Angels that Junko mentioned to them earlier.

Right after cast their wish, the child died.

Since there are no cemetery for the Holy Order of the Divine Thaumaturgy in Gensokyo, Yumemi asked Byakuren to bury the child temporarily in the Myouren Temple's Cemetery until a proper cemetery for the Holy Order is constructed.

The child was buried... But Junko suffered a major emotional shock after losing Itsuki.

She refused to smile for many days, locked herself in her room for most of the time, praying for Itsuki's salvation.

One day, Megumi came and told Junko that Itsuki is now safe with them in Heaven.

At that point, Junko finally know that Megumi has heard Itsuki's dying wish and fulfilled it so that they can join them in Heaven.

She finally overcome her shock.

She became the same optimistic person as before.

And at her primary graduation, she showed Itsuki's spirit in Heaven that she has finally achieved a major milestone in her academic journey.

That's the story of Junko and her sibling.

A tragic story but with a happy ending, right?

Akira's comment: Well, this story is a bit of Undertale-ish, but I made it to influence by the story of the Junko from LoLK, who have her beloved son died due to someone killed him. Well, both characters share the same spoken form of their name, so it can be hard to tell each character apart when you just say "Junko". And both characters have a tragic past of losing their relatives long ago, so their backstories can be somewhat similar.

A good story, right?
