For this reason, users are actually revealing quite a bit about their perceived interests and information based on their browsing activity (or that of someone else who uses the device being used to access Game Jolt) when they show off which ads are displaying for them. So, while I seem to only get ads about health food products, game deals, GameCube controllers (ROFL), and RedBubble or other clothing-based prints (yes, I am that simple), the next person could be getting ads about... Well let's not go there, but things can get spooky, let's just put it that way.
The lesson: It's not about Game Jolt. It's about what your online presence is telling the major ad systems in use. Might want to think twice before sharing what you're seeing!
