Update v0.1.1

This is the first ever update to Mitosis Project, and it's already live!

  • Object movement and scaling: now the movement is way more precise (even though not perfect yet) and the scaling will set the right mass for the scaled objects.

  • Player physics: I fixed some crazy bugs and improved it a little bit. Still far from good. I'll keep working on it.

  • Level 3: now the little stairs are higher and the lighting is better on this scene.

  • Blocking walls: created an "energized barrier" instead of those weird pipes. Looks much better.

  • Camera control: fixed a bug on camera movement limits.

Future

I'm not really sure if I want to make this a big project yet, but I'm having fun working on it and I still want to make some more stuff:

  • Make player movement better

  • Design more levels

  • Add sounds

  • Create a save system

I'll be posting everything here! Stay tuned!

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)
