Yea before you ask, this isn't an april fools prank, those are so predictable at this point that releasing something legit is a bigger prank.

So what the hell is this? Well, when I was thinking of how the TRTF 3 review would go (which is still probably gonna take a while as I wanna take a bit of a break from making TRTF stuff), I wanted to not just talk about the game on the surface level, but also dig through its code and do a sort of an mfa exploration, as many people say how the game is broken, but not many dive deep into why exactly. Then I got an idea of possibly releasing a more fixed version of TRTF 3 at the same time as the review dropped, so I started working on it, and, well, from a side project it went to something I focused on way more than I expected to. I kept thinking of more stuff to change or add, to the point that it turned from a simple recode to a full on major update of sorts. And after working on it for so long I decided not to hold it hostage for god knows how long until the TRTF 3 review drops, and instead release it once it's done.

Not much point in talking about the remake itself here, you can watch the video and read the game page for more info on that. Don't come in with super high expectations, after all this is the first game I publish on my main gamejolt account and my coding experience isn't that great, especially when it comes to optimization, but I'm at the very least content with having a game that works and that is, at least from what the testers said, pretty fun. I promise I kinda know what I'm doing I think

And the last thing I wanna mention is a small shoutout to TRTF 2 Reworked, as it, along with a few other games, was a partial inspiration for this. Though I wasn't even aware that TRTF 3 Reworked was in development until I made very significant progress on my recode, so it was kinda late to turn back, and hey, it's not like anyone owns the idea of recoding a game, this shouldn't be a competition or anything. At the end of the day this project was just for fun and to practice clickteam a bit, while also giving people something neat to play around with, just barely filling in the hole where, one day, an actual proper TRTF 3 remake would be.

Kinda surprised 3 Reworked didn't come out before mine lol, but I would also feel bad for potentially overshadowing the guy's efforts, so be sure to give him support as well and play TRTF 3 Reworked when it comes out too.
