So... why did I join Game Jolt? How did I ended up where I am? The answer is simple: Love

I have been in a long distance relationship for 6 years now, we met thanks to FNaF, bonded over gijinkas, jump fandoms together, came back to FNaF full swing when AR was at peak, celebrated the announcement of the Fazbear Fanverse, her favorite game is POPGOES and mine FNaC (i've told that story a bunch of times now haha) blablabla, its been 6 wonderful years together and we aim to go for more

Last year (2023) we met each other for the first time. It was the first time I traveled alone outside my country, speaking my taught language (that i'm still learning!!) non stop during all the time I was there with her. It was a wonderful experience! Leaving was the ugliest and hardest thing to do from the whole trip, I came back home feeling nothing but sadness, I couldn't retake my projects with the same passion I had before leaving, I just wanted to go back and stay under the same roof as her a little longer (Ngl I was sulking around for a whole month )

Then the FNaC + POPGOES Art Contest was announced. Prices were shirts of one of my girlfriend's favorite fnaf characters, which motivate me to ask around and give it a shot at the chance to win something for her birthday (In June). I just needed to find a way to make this distance feel less heavy

I remember asking her which shirt she wanted so I could aim to make art of that game (she picked POPGOES lol) before I ask if it was possible to draw both.

I had a few ideas...

Picked one and went for it

I was happy with it, Octy was happy too (she loves Popgoes, he likes how I draw him and Candy) soooo I picked the other idea and also finished it, not for the contest but fanart sake

It made both of us happy, so I decided to draw more and more. It felt nice to draw CPU content again after a long while, the fandom was very welcoming, I felt comfortable to ask for Fanverse requests and gradually felt comfy to illustrate some of my own headcanons and even shipping (not quite public at first, I have to taint the waters and make sure I blocked every rude bean who could cause trouble)

I didn't won that contest, but I gain a motivation boost to create content that make Octy and me happy, that makes other people happy

And well.. things just keep going and going
