Aborigines are creatures fully consumed by the Curse. They attack any living thing that catches their eye. A Pilgrim or a boar - they care not, as long as there's something to plunder. The loot is then stashed in hexed chests within their camps. Of course, you can try to pillage such a camp, but your safety and well-being can't be guaranteed. But luck favours the brave, and the rewards hidden in the chests will satisfy any Pilgrim!
