I am also writing the novel on parallel. I will be telling you about it this year as I write and develop that too.
I think some people who play will enjoy the book, and vice versa. The book will have three parts.

Sneak peek to the Lore scene. Lore will be added to the lore book as you play. This will be part of the game, not a dlc.
It's to increase immersion in the game.
