Hello, there are very little people that see this, but for those that see this, please read this. Earlier today I attempted to do a test export on my game, School of Nightmares. When I attempted to do so it said I had an error. When I went to see what went wrong, it said "Unknown error". I tried for hours to do every fix possible(most were outdated for previous versions of UE5). Eventually, I came across a YouTuber named "an occasional gamer". He made a video explaining that if you use a template for your project, it is impossible to export. Now how stupid is that. Would have been nice to know before I spent an entire fucking month on the project made with a template. 1 comment on the video said, it's a problem with Windows files, No it's not. Around December of last year, I got a new PC. On my old PC, the same problems occurred with a old, now canceled project. Epic games needs to fix this. Imagine the shit that new games devs go through(Yes I am one of them), just to find out they can't export it because they used a fucking template. Now I do understand that people do disserve credit for their work, and if they want to make it so you can't export a template, that's perfectly ok. BUT AT LEAST PUT A MESSAGE OR SOMETHING TO TELL THE DEV THAT. In simple terms, if you are planning to make a UE5 game, make it in a blank project, then import the first person character. As for me, the game is massively delayed(obviously). I am glad that I caught it when I did. Let me know if I said something wrong in the comments,
