There's something about this game that bothers me a little, and that's the artwork, for one reason:
several arts are inconsistent, or at least that's how I feel. I mean, the early artwork for this game can look distorted, while others, like the latest ones I've done, look fine.
On the one hand, it was because I improved as I was making these drawings, and on the other hand, it was because of the updates to ibisPaint (where I do the artwork). I would say that during the updates, improved the interface or the way of drawing a bit. In one update, for example: made it possible to draw circles better without them looking distorted
and in some of the artwork for this game, you may notice that with the characters, some eyes look distorted and others look great, like a perfect circle.
What I mean is that when I compare the first and last pieces of artwork, I see a certain inconsistency, and besides, the shading is almost invisible.
But I don't want to redo the art from scratch because that would delay the game even more (which is already 87% complete).
But I had this idea:
when this game is released, maybe I'll make a 2.0 version with the sole intention of further improving my art and shading, but the game would be the same, only that would change.
The last art I did was the thumbnail on the page. You can see what I could improve in terms of design and shading, so that's what I'll do in v2.0.
Do you think it's a good idea, or is it unnecessary?
