TAKO PAST:

during her time in the octarian army she was the quickest to develop her kid form when she was just aged 10 and raised through the ranks to get the eye of dj octavio himself becoming his right hand women and the commander of the army when agent 3 has they’re battle with dj Octavio I imagine she tried to help him but after hearing the inkantation she quickly runs away to start a new life

she was quickly found by agent 3 but instead of killing her they decided to take her in as they saw she has a change of heart and became apart of the squid beak splatoon

she still thinks about her time in the army and regrets the stuff she did she rarely has panic attacks but normally cries.. a lot she uses learning dance and coming up with songs to comfort herself and it gets her and nesu busy but she also has a tendency to overwork herself

her instincts and habits will sometimes kick in from when she was in the army like de arming people and restraining them if she’s caught by surprise

NESU PAST:

well he was squidnapped and out in a tube to be under control to make music non stop and then was found in the reckage of the deep sea metro by his future girlfriend so he probably has a lot of shit going on inside his head

i mean he was put in a tube and was sanitised which wiped his memories so to his knowledge he was born there and then was forced to make music to be heard across the metro with dedf1sh who was the only person he could trust and she went missing from his point of view

due to the sanitation he pretty much has no social skills and is regaining back the ability to feel and taste, it probably mutated his body so he’s more buff and strong (you can’t see it though) and he’s trying to figure out who he is again

he has breakdowns and sometimes has an identity crisis to which Tako always jumps in to comfort him and uses music as a distraction and a way to express himself

his one desire is to gain back his memories and his normal octoling form back
