Balrog is a boxer... He boxes (of course) and therefore he uses his fists only (obviously). He's a fast charge character with good close-range attacks and brute force, but he eventually struggles against characters with mid-range or high-range beams, specially if the opponent can spam those.

Along with Juli and Juni, he was originally a secret character who, in the arcade runs, is the semi-final boss for some characters and has no story of his own in his arcade run so it's just M. Bison's bosses, cutscenes and ending. He has a slightly different version for his CPU which can't be normally accessed.

In arcades, the way to unlock all of them are:

  1. Via waiting for a bunch of days (which you can't replicate on emulation). The game rewards you for that, yeah.

  2. Go to the Test Menu, select the Input test and do the following command: LP LP > LK HK (Shun Goku Satsu command, funny!), Start + LK (exit command). A message will pop up if done correctly!

In order to select him, you will have to:

  • Highlight Karin (for ~3 secs.), highlight a Random Box, hold Start and press any button (You usually get a random character with a different -ISM depending on which button you hit between Low, Mid and High sets of Punches/Kicks)

hi starting from the 4th one i'm adding any drawings i like and have made ho-hum!

(previous post) the series are pretty interesting because you got these cool as hell characters with cool complex backstories that were made up for it & sfex also with a sick as hell ost and interesting 3d visuals that weren't common in sf

didn't took caps of the destined battle and the mid-boss dialogues but basically on the 1st one rose tries to warn ryu about bison and in thr 2nd one ken was manipulated by bison to battle him (i think???)

ok so i noticed that the detail of rolento's take no prisoners super combo being unblockable for cody isn't in the gba version.. ??????
