I haven't seen the flash yet, but I think the hate it's getting is VERY undeserved.

When I watch a movie, I don't care about the CGI or Acting, I care about if the story's good and if the trailer was awesome. And the trailer showed just that. How'd we get to the point where movies are only good if the CGI was good? I heard Adam west was brought back through CGI, that's actually awesome! Also, Movies in the past didn't have any effects to start with. Take silent movies for example. Charlie Chaplin's movies. One looked like he was gonna fall into a hole, but that was glass painted on to look like that. The weightlessness in "Apollo 13" was thanks to a military plane that recreated zero gravity, Tom Cruise actually climbed the Burj Khalifa for "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.", The face-melting ending from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was done using melting wax sculptures, Christopher Nolan used miniatures and flipped an actual 18-wheeler during a big chase scene in "The Dark Knight.", "The Dark Knight Rises" ripped apart a plane and dropped it from the sky, The incredible upside-down hallway fight scene in "Inception" consisted of a 100-foot revolving set, "2001: A Space Odyssey" incorporated giant elaborate sets and camera tricks to film realistic space, Wires helped Marty McFly's hoverboard fly in "Back To The Future Part II." Sure, CGI is a necessary evil, but it doesn't need it to be good. Just enjoy the story instead of critiquing it for CGI not being the best. (Most of my examples came from insider)
