A little unexpected, right? Especially after days of not showing up... well yes, it wasn't planned as a thing about last week.
Since the last log, I've been working like crazy on both the "Qubby of the Wilderness" minigame (which turned out very well) and also on 2 other minigames that I decided to code together. These two are:
"Fallin' & Sleep"
And
"Hungry Dog"
They turned out very well too, and personally I think Hungry Dog is the more fun of the two, even if it's not very short to play unlike Fallin' & Sleep.
Ok, fine, but what happened...? It happened that I wanted to finish the two minigames mentioned above before going on holiday (from August 11th to the 19th), which I still managed to do but in conjunction with the development of these minigames someone pointed out to me the myriad of latent problems that every previous game in the series has and a lot of it is due to the shitty code made in the past 5 years.
With FNaI:MR and in particular with the minigames I learned a lot with Clickteam Fusion, so much so that I can criticize the code of previous games, no one is safe
(Thank goodness @SusieCat helped me otherwise I would have continued coding like shit).
Every game has its problems and I wanted to fix them all due to the fact that FNaI:MR is coded 10.000 times better than the first games (especially FNaI 1 and 2).
I will try to do all these updates before August 10th, the date that marks the third anniversary of FNaI 3 (also because I will have to go on holiday then as already mentioned).
I have already updated FNaI 1, with version 1.8 but as I already said I will release it on the 10th.
Between today and tomorrow I intend to finish FNaI 2, there are WAY MORE things to fix than FNaI 1.
I will update you on the 10th for any changes in plans.
Trust me, it's something that needs to be done.
See you in the future.
