I'm just gonna quietly post this cancelled Scratch Lab experiment on the topic of 4.0

Our extensions will be loaded and treated as built-in extensions from the VM, but from a separate repository. No URLs, just raw Unsandboxed extensions. In the true spirit of our name, and without the VM clutter.

Unsandboxed is being acquired by the Scratch Foundation.

We're now officially incorporating our "creative AI suite", which includes a code generator, image generation, and a personal code helper named Minge.

We're also removing custom extensions. And fun.

Other mods are fun. "Why fix compiler when can remove errors from showing up at all?"

I genuinely wish I could be this chill when adding shit. It would be 10x more fun.

Also LibreKitten is neat, go see what they're doing

The Scratch Team has just recently updated their Terms of Service yesterday, letting you know they now have full permission to use your content to train AI models.

ok i FINALLY finished dropsane teto

Useless Scratch facts # 6:

For reasons, Scratch's experimental "Spork" editor renders large nests of reporters with squared edges.

The maximum width of a reporter before this happens is 48 Blockly units. It may end up in 4.0.
