I’m not officially canceling DUSTBORN yet, but it’s very unlikely to be completed.


Making a game takes a lot of time and effort. I’ve been working hard on SOLUNE, which will probably release in a few years, and I simply don’t have the time to finish both projects.

While I still like the concept of DUSTBORN, it might be too abstract to fully develop into a complete game. SOLUNE feels more grounded, less dark, and overall more complete, which is why I’ve decided to focus on it.

So, while DUSTBORN will probably remain unfinished, anyone who wishes to continue or reimagine the concept is free to do so if I officially cancel it in the future. SOLUNE, on the other hand, will be completed.

A huge, but silent monster. Some say that if they played music near it, it would start blinking to the beat, could it be true?

This monster, native to caves, may attack you!
