Sonic X: Wings of Destiny is an amateur web series project that we imagined as a spiritual sequel to the cult series Sonic X. The idea came about quite naturally, as after rewatching the original 2003 series, we wanted to extend this adventure with our own vision, while respecting the spirit and atmosphere of the original work as much as possible.
Although this project is presented as a sequel, this time it takes place on the planet Mobius and will introduce new characters with different and original stories, without neglecting the heroes everyone already knows and loves. Among these new characters is Jone the Bat, an original character who will play an important role in the plot. Some might think of it as a kind of "self-insert"
, and that's not entirely false, but its goal is in no way to overshadow Sonic and his friends : they remain at the heart of the story, and we are very committed to giving them the role they deserve. Alongside Jone, other new characters will make their appearance, and the highly anticipated returns of iconic characters from the Sonic universe are also planned.
The strength of Wings of Destiny isn't just its action and adventure: it's also its emotion. We want to offer a rich series, where combat and justice rub shoulders with deeper themes such as the relationships between characters, their sometimes painful pasts, their choices, and their bonds of friendship and love. Jone's character, in particular, will have a powerful story that will intersect with that of Sonic and his friends. To make these moments even more intense, music plays a key role: it's designed to be a true amplifier of emotions, giving the scenes their full power.
Today, the project is on hold but not abandoned. We've already found a large part of the voice actors, which is an essential step, but there's still work to be done, particularly in recruiting composers and probably editors. Despite these challenges, we've made tremendous progress: all the episodes have been imagined, described, and staged with dialogue, which allows us to work more efficiently. We're planning a 10-episode season, each with a length close to that of the original series, sometimes even a little longer depending on the content. If the scripts are currently on hold, it's mainly due to my classes and difficult personal periods.
Sonic X: Wings of Destiny is a project that means immensely to me. Ie put a large part of my ideas, my energy, and my heart into it (like my friends too). Every scene, every piece of music (for the moment, place holder), every detail touches me deeply, and I'm convinced that this feeling will also be shared by those who watch. It's a real challenge, but also a dream that we want to bring to fruition, no matter how long it takes. The most important thing for us is to offer something clean, carefully crafted, and above all, faithful to the spirit of Sonic X. If we manage to touch viewers with our imagination and passion, then for me and my team, it will already be a huge success, almost a masterpiece in our own way.
As for actually resuming the project, it won't happen right away. I still have other priorities, like finishing Jone & Friends 1, but one thing is certain: Wings of Destiny will be made. We don't know when yet, but this project will see the light of day. And if I continue to believe in it, it's also thanks to my friends and all the people who help and support me. I will never regret sharing this adventure with them, because even if our creations are amateur, we put all our love into them.

Finally, I want to reiterate that this project is not intended to surpass TMS Entertainment or SEGA. On the contrary, it's thanks to them that we wanted to create this sequel. Their work on Sonic X, despite its flaws, remains magnificent and has left a deep impression on us. We simply hope, with humility, to prolong this magic a little.
The day Sonic X: Wings of Destiny is ready for release on the web, we will organize announcements, trailers, and clear communication around its release. In the meantime, we hope you'll be there, as we work hard to ensure this project touches everyone's heart.
A big thank you for your patience and for reading. I hope you better understand our vision, and that one day you will be able to discover this story to its fullest. See you soon, and have a good day/evening!
