I manually created volumetric lighting in my game using beams today! What did you guys do?

You might be wondering, doesn't Roblox already have this? Well... no, actually. Their sun rays are often buggy and unrealistic compared to actually rays hitting particles such as fog. And, they are only seen when looking near the sun. None of these images use the built in rays.

How was it done? Light hits several beams stacked on each other. The beams have high light emission. This makes fog that light can pass through.
