I've been doing a little experimenting and it looks like adding new sprite effects isn't too challenging? It's certainly within the realms of possibility.

And I'm talking about fully VM-integrated glsl effects (not image/skin effects).

This is why scratch doesn't add new blocks FYI. The sensing_online block was added out of irritation rather than care.

The Scratch Team has just recently updated their Terms of Service yesterday, letting you know they now have full permission to use your content to train AI models.
